Some insurers can offer you a policy before you have exchanged contracts and/or if you are not going to be completing and moving in within a 14-day window. They can be found through the British Insurers Brokers Association (BIBA), who can be reached on 0370 950 1790.
Unfortunately, we cannot set up a policy for you for a property that you are purchasing, unless exchange of contracts has already taken place.
This is due to the fact that prior to the contracts being exchanged, you do not have a financial interest in the property, meaning if we set a policy up for you, it would technically be invalid.
It is also important to note, that we require you to be completing the sale and be moving into the property within 14 days of the purchase date of your new policy.
