Refunds can take between 3-5 working days or up to 31 days for the money to clear into your account.
This can depend on the method used to process the refund. In order to prevent money laundering, we are duty-bound to always make an initial attempt at processing the refund onto the same debit/credit card used to pay for the policy. If processed this way, the refund will take 3-5 working days.
If we're unable to return to the card initially used to pay for the policy, we will send the funds by BACS, or bank-to-bank transfer. If processed this way, the refund will take 31 days and we will need to collect additional banking information to process the refund.
Please note that these time scales are from the date your cancellation has been processed. You will receive an email confirmation of the cancellation on this date.
