Yes, please let us know about any building work or structural changes at your property at least 30 days before the work starts. It is important that you inform us of this so we can notify your insurers, who, in turn, will:
a) decide if they are in a position to continue offering you suitable cover for your home and;
b) confirm if any changes are required.
Once we are notified of the building work, we will need to complete a building works questionnaire with you. Therefore, it's a good idea to have all of the relevant information to hand when you give us a call - including the public liability insurance details of the contractor you may have used.
