The new regulations from the FCA mean that from 1st January 2022, we’ll ensure that the price you pay for your Policy Expert insurance will be the same, or cheaper, than the price available to a new Policy Expert customer for the same policy.
Your policy may still change in price when you come to renew but this depends on other factors such as the cost of repairs or any claims that you’ve made. Rest assured that under the new regulations, the price you’re offered would be the same as what we’d offer to a new customer with the same information as you if they get their quote the same way that you did – for example, from our website, over the phone of through a price comparison site.
The good news is that you don’t need to do anything ahead of the changes. When your insurance is up for renewal, we’ll look at your information and let you know if there are any changes to your policy.
